My name is Megan. but you can call me Meg. I was born and raised in southern California (and I have proudly have kept my 310 area code) and transplanted to the greater Houston area over 14 years ago.
I was born and raised by the beach and it's one of the things I miss most, the Pacific Ocean. I try and go back as often as I can because it keeps me grounded. But, there are many things I love about Texas and I'm happy to call it home.
Since I can remember, I was always the girl with the camera taking everyone's photograph. Preserving and documenting memories has always been important to me. In college, I picked up my first DSLR and never looked back. Having been self taught, I have learned a lot and honed in on my craft over the last 15 years.
Oh my! Yes, and they are the best part of me. I have three amazing kids. Two girls and a boy. They are my greatest muse and the reason why I stepped into the growing families space. They are my why and give this business so much purpose for me. Everytime you hire me, you are not only giving me the opportunity to give you something you give me the opportunity to mother them well. It's not something I take for granted and I'm very grateful.
I couldn't live without pizza or a great pasta dish, or cheese. Basically, just carbs. :)
Quirky, silly, feels all the things, passionate, sometimes words are hard for me but you can see everything I'm thinking on my face. I romanticize life and find meaning in everything and my friends would say that I usually am awkwardly dancing around.
I don't watch a lot of TV these days. My favorite all time show is The Office though. I do listen to a lot of music and podcasts in my free time. If you have a great suggestion, I'd love to know it!
I've recently taken up the hobby of ballroom dancing and I'm thinking about starting jujitsu on my own and with my kiddos! But generally, I like to bake, raise Monarch butterflies, travel, explore fun coffee shops, thrift shop, or having dance parties with my kids.
